move in day!

hiyadin? i'm good... got mostly moved in today... almost everything is in, just got a couple of snags here and there, but it's all good otherwise... anywho... i am really tired right now, and feel like going to bed, but i feel like i have to update first... anyways... my blue is starting to fade, which is a ripoff... oh well... it's been fun, i may do a touchup or two in a day or so... or not, we'll see... ok, i have rambled long enough... night!

back and running

hiyadin? i've been busy... i got back around 10:30 pm on the 14th... and hit the ground running... it was nice to be back, though... i decided against posting last night cuz i was tired, but tonight i woke up and can't get back to sleep, so i am posting... why not... anyways, the trip was good - long, but good... Bertha ran like a champ and only used a tank and a half, which is a good thing considering gas prices nowadays... anyways, i am gonna try to get back to sleep now... Peace!

packing

Hiyadin? it's kinda bittersweet... i'm taking my 50th packing break, this time to blog... this has been the hardest pack ever, not just cuz i have a lot of crap, but also because it sucks leaving... i love the people up here, and i have tried to make it so i leave last, but the Noble one is leaving thursday, so that's not the case this year... it also sucks because our (my, nick, jake, and others) room is always the messiest.. and since jake and nick left a couple of weeks ago, i have to clean by myself... but thankk god for Cooper, cuz if he hadn't come, Trish wouldn't have cleaned half of the crap up already... oh well, i have messed it up since then so it is still hard... i gots to go get cleanin if i am gonna get any sleep before i leave tomorrow... peace out and God Bless!

kids

hiyadin? i'm ok... these kids are kinda rowdy and don;t listen very well... anyways... the staff is beginning to leave, one by one. Jenny left last week and SarahJane left today. most everyone else will be leaving tomorrow, except for me and Steven i think... so it is kind of bittersweet today, a good end, but i don't want to go home to the heat of KY and the pressures of school... oh well, i'll survive... anyways, i should get back out to the kids... peace!

Happy is a jet ski ride

Hiyadin? i'm freakin happy... i got to go out and tool around on a jetski today... it was Claudio's... he was here with the rental group from this weekend and he let us play with his toy...i had been saying all summer that i just wanted to be jetskiing right now and it finally happened... i gues God is just rewarding me for a summer of hard work in his name... it's some good stuff... except now i am sore and wanna go again... but i can't cuz we have campers coming in about an hour

Hiyadin? so, here i am , laying in the batcave, and i am not the only one in my room... Critter (Zach Crider) came up for a few days to visit/relax and he decided to crash in my room... so, i am currentky writing while he's snoring... it's all good, though... today was another crazy fun day... i got to pretty much chill all day. paul was gone, so i couldn't really get involved in any maintenance projects, seeing as he directs all of that. so today i just went swimming... oh yeah, and caught a fish and threw it at lauren... you see, she told me that if i caught a fish while i was snorkeling, i needed to show it to her... so when i netted the fish, it was too small for the net, so the only thing i could do was chuck the thing at her... so apparently we are no longer friends... we'll see how long that lasts... anyways... tonight was capped off by a late run to the Kwik Trip that began by me having a donut craving... and then i asked Crider if he wanted to go, and then Brittney decided she wanted to go, then Lauren, and Amy... so what began as a donut craving turned into me playing chauffer again... not that i mind or anything, it gave me a chance to drive Bertha around... which is always fun... anyways, it's time for bed... batcave

hiyadin? i'm just sitting in my bed at camp, which i have made into my own personal batcave... it's great cuz it is very warm and cozy, as well as dark so i can sleep in the pitch black... also, i have finally put my computer into my room, so i don't have to chill in the lobby to check email and stuff... with only a week left, things are starting to get weird... i feel kinda like i am trying to withdraw, but that's not what i really want to happen... which sucks, because i love this ministry team, and i would do it again in a heartbeat... but i still want to tour next summer, because i never get to spend any time with the Lux guys anymore and it kinda stinks... but i also want to do ministry... i guess i could just use my life as a ministry next summer, just witnessing to everyone by displaying that a christian can still rock...and have lots of fun while doing it... good wholesome fun... i gotta run now that i have rambled because i have to do maintenance for Camp... and i just remembered i never put my laundry into the dryer last night... oops... later

ok, for all of those who will be reading this, you know that i am Kentuckian and that i speak kinda funny... or at least you may think so... that's why i entitled this blog with my favorite Kentucky word... Hiyadin or Hiyadun, depending on dialect... it really just means "how are you doing?" but i like saying it and seeing how many people respond... oh well.. it's all gravy... goodnight
